Experience Behind the Work
AYA Forward brings together senior leadership, public-system implementation, correctional education, program design and direct facilitation. The value is not only knowing what institutions intend to do—it is understanding what the work feels like for the people expected to carry it out and live inside it.
Experience becomes useful when it can be translated into a clearer next move.

The Forward Philosophy
AYA Forward connects learning, leadership, family and legacy work through one operating principle: understand the real context, create usable structure, and build toward progress that people can carry forward.
Connected AYA Pathways
AYA Forward meets people and institutions at different points of transition, challenge and possibility—then connects them to the pathway, program or partnership built for what comes next.
People Are the Point
AYA Forward works across different ages, settings and institutions, but the through-line is consistent: build structures that respect identity, strengthen agency and help people move with greater clarity and connection.

AYA programs translate the larger Forward philosophy into concrete experiences, curricula and implementation models for people and institutions.
Proof in Practice
AYA Forward combines completed program delivery, formal public-sector contracting, active institutional program design and controlled pilot work. We distinguish clearly between what has been measured, what is contracted, what is in development and what is beginning now.

Evaluations
A multi-day Harambe experience in New Orleans used structured reflection and participant evaluation to measure connection, identify what worked and shape the next iteration. The model continues to be refined across successive Harambe gatherings.
See the Harambe model →Contracted · Legacy Forward
AYA holds an executed instructor contract with a county recreation system. Legacy Circles has been developed for public-sector implementation with a six-session pilot architecture for adults 55+, participation safeguards, accessibility adaptations and a practical evaluation plan.
Explore Legacy Forward →Active Development · Family Forward
Following program-fit discussions with a local correctional and reentry system, AYA was asked to return with a concise set of differentiated 4–6 week series tied to identifiable service gaps. Current options include family reconnection, a focused Social Phenomenon series and women-centered leadership/economic agency programming.

AYA Legacy Forward has begun its controlled individual-client advocacy pilot using a formal onboarding sequence: discovery, intake and authorization, access-rate selection, written scope, assessment, support planning and documented advocacy activity. Client identity remains private.
